View specificationsEngineering Advantages
Built for demanding vacuum drying duty
High Heat Transfer Efficiency
A large interlayer heating area maximizes conductive heat transfer to the material, shortening drying cycles versus tray or oven drying.
Continuous Material Circulation
The built-in scraper rake constantly lifts material off the hot cylinder wall and folds it back into the bed, keeping heating uniform across the batch.
Sealed Vacuum Environment
A fully enclosed vacuum chamber protects oxygen-sensitive, explosive, or toxic materials from contamination and oxidation during drying.
Solvent Recovery Ready
Vapor drawn off under vacuum can be condensed and recovered, supporting solvent-laden feedstocks and reducing raw material loss.
Precision Shaft Machining
The stirring shaft and rake blades receive specialized machining for concentricity and strength, minimizing wear and vibration over long duty cycles.
Configurable Sealing
Mechanical seal or packing seal options let you match sealing performance and maintenance interval to your process requirements.
Half-Pipe Jacket on Larger Models
Units above 5 m³ use a half-pipe jacket design, distributing heating medium evenly across the larger cylinder surface for consistent temperature control.
Configurable Filter Media
Filter media at the vapor outlet can be specified to match material characteristics, preventing fine powder carryover into the vacuum system.
Nine Standard Model Sizes
Working volumes from 300 L to 3600 L across nine standard models make it straightforward to match capacity to production demand without custom engineering.
Working Principle
The vacuum rake drying cycle
- STEP 01
Charge Material
Wet paste, paste-like, or powder material is loaded into the sealed horizontal vessel through the feed port.
- STEP 02
Seal & Evacuate
The chamber is sealed and the vacuum system draws down pressure, lowering the boiling point of surface moisture.
- STEP 03
Conductive Heating
Steam, hot water, or thermal oil circulates through the jacket, conducting heat through the cylinder wall into the material bed.
- STEP 04
Rake Agitation
The scraper-blade rake continuously turns the bed, clearing hot surfaces and folding material for even heat exposure.
- STEP 05
Vapor Extraction
Evaporated moisture or solvent is drawn out by the vacuum pump and condensed for recovery where required.
- STEP 06
Discharge Product
Once target moisture is reached, the sealed discharge port releases the dried product without breaking the vacuum environment.
