Engineering Advantages

Built for demanding vacuum drying duty

Combined Drying and Mixing

A single vessel performs both drying and mixing, removing the need for a separate mixing step and reducing product handling between operations.

Continuous Ribbon Lift and Cascade

The internally heated ribbon orderly stirs, turns, lifts, and cascades material, keeping it in constant contact with the heated chamber wall.

Sealed Vacuum Environment

A fully enclosed vacuum chamber protects oxygen-sensitive or heat-sensitive materials from contamination and oxidation during drying.

Solvent Recovery Ready

Heated volatile solvent extracted under vacuum can be condensed and recovered, supporting solvent-laden feedstocks.

Low-Temperature Drying

Vacuum operation lowers the required drying temperature, preserving heat-sensitive powders, pastes, and resins.

Simple Stationary Design

The vertical body remains stationary while only the internal ribbon rotates, simplifying seals, drive maintenance, and long-term reliability.

Wide Material Range

Suitable for powders, pastes, and resins, including materials requiring intensive controlled mixing while drying.

Eight Standard Sizes

Effective volumes from 500 L to 4000 L across eight standard models make it straightforward to match capacity to batch size.

Working Principle

The vacuum rake drying cycle

  1. STEP 01

    Charge Material

Powder, paste, or resin material enters the vertical drying chamber through the sealed feed port.

  2. STEP 02

    Seal and Evacuate

The chamber is sealed and the vacuum system draws down pressure, lowering the boiling point of surface moisture and solvent.

  3. STEP 03

    Jacket Conductive Heating

Heating medium circulates through the jacket, conducting heat through the chamber wall to the ribbon and material.

  4. STEP 04

    Ribbon Lift and Cascade

The internally heated ribbon lifts and cascades material in circumferential motion, continuously renewing contact with the heated wall.

  5. STEP 05

    Vapor Extraction and Recovery

Evaporated solvent or moisture is drawn out under vacuum and can be condensed for recovery where required.

  6. STEP 06

    Discharge Product

Once target moisture is reached, the dried and mixed product is released from the vessel outlet.

Why Choose Ruibo

Reasons processors specify Ruibo

One Vessel, Two Operations

Combining drying and mixing in a single vessel removes a process step and reduces material handling versus separate equipment.

Contamination Control

The sealed vacuum chamber isolates material from ambient air, limiting oxidation and contamination during processing.

Low-Temperature Capability

Vacuum operation lowers the boiling point of moisture and solvent, protecting heat-sensitive powders, pastes, and resins.

Solvent Recovery Ready

Vapor drawn off under vacuum can be condensed and recovered, reducing raw material loss on solvent-wet feedstocks.

Simplified Maintenance

A stationary vertical body with only the internal ribbon rotating simplifies seal maintenance versus rotating-vessel designs.

Eight Standard Sizes

Effective volumes from 500 L to 4000 L across eight standard models make it straightforward to match capacity to production demand.
